Terms & Conditions of Repair Services
Our repair services are provided on your agreement to these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are in plain english and used to clarify details that may not be obvious to you, the customer.
1) If sending your console to us for repair, the console will be liable to a return delivery charge of £4.99 regardless of the repair status. If you don't want the console returned it can be disposed of free of charge.This charge is not applicable for local customers.
2) You are responsible for your console during transit to consolewerks. We "Consolewerks" cannot take responsibility for any loss or damages during transit to Consolewerks. An insured courier service is recommended together with good packaging.
3) Once your console has arrived at Consolewerks it will be inspected at some point to diagnose the fault, this diagnosis will invalidate and remaining manufactures warranty on the console.
4) It is your own responsibility to back up any data (Game Saves, Pictures, Films, Music) that may be on your console. All though we try to avoid data loss, its not always possible and sometimes data needs to be deleted to repair the fault.
5) After inspection of your console we will contact you with an exact cost of repair, you may then decide if you wish to have the repairs carried out or not, all prices on our website are to be used as guideline prices.
6) If your console has not been collected within 90 days of the repair inspection, either in person or via other arrangements. The console will be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
